Equipment Removal

Equipment Removal

Similar to our strength in decommissioning data centers, our team at Coastal Power is proficient in providing turnkey solutions to every liquidation and removal project, both large and small. With the experience and track-record to prove, our team will determine the best way to remove your surplus, outdated, and obsolete equipment, while providing the means and methods to maximize returns for the infrastructure onsite.

How Our Process Works

We begin with obtaining general site and equipment information, which includes pictures of the equipment, pictures of the site, and conversations with the client. The goal during this process is to establish which resources will be required for removal, the overall scope of work, and an approximate value of the current infrastructure. Once we have created a baseline, we will schedule a time to visit the site to further explore our strategy for removal. Next, our team simultaneously determines two items: (1) our offer for the equipment onsite, and (2) the most cost-effective way to provide the required services. In figuring our offer, our purchasing team analyzes current market needs, reconciles the possible equipment purchase with existing inventory, and checks for any immediate sale or rental opportunities. While estimating labor costs, our project managers obtain quotes from various vendors, ranging from certified electricians, mechanical contractors, crane and rigging companies, as well as freight brokers. After establishing the most cost-effective method for removal and our competitive market-value offer for the current equipment, we are able to present our official proposal to our customer.
